Cool Yule
Hi a little late this month with my Clarity challenge. Took a while to decide what I was going to do this month as I have so many favourite clarity stamps and stencils. This composition was put together using one of my mop up pieces which I started with.
It was a piece of card used to clean one of my favourite stencils after using colour burst inks.
I then decided to stamp the Stag from this months club and the stars from the wee stamps using versamark embossed with gold embossing powder.
Felt it needed more, so inked with candied apple and black soot distress inks to make the stag stand out. Couldn't resist using thecool yule from the Clarity jumper set. Just because I thought the finished piece was cool. Hope you like it.

circles and squares
Hi everyone very early this month with my challenge card for Clarity the subject is circles and squares. I have used just circles.
- Firstly using clarity stencil card I inked the card with the new artistry inks Morning Dew, Lime Kiss and Orange popsicle.
- Then I fixed the Clarity stencil to the card with low tack tape and pulled sweet poppy bronze paste through it. I removed it very carefully, to reveal the image.
- I then spinkled various colour of mica powders over this and allowed it to dry completely.
- On another piece of the same card I inked again with the same colours and stamped this with clarity the sentiment stamp with versamark and embossed with copper powder useing a heat gun.
- This I cut out using a die not sure who made it but any decorative die would do. When cut I inked through it to give dimension.
- I then stamped the tulip image in the centre again in versamark and embossed with copper.
- To make the tulips stand out I painted them using the same inks from Artistry.
- Attached a few gems.
- Layered everything together and this was the result. Hope you like it. Comments appreciated positive and negative.

In the garden
Hi September already where is the year going, time for another challenge from Clarity https://claritystampchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/clarity-challenge-43-in-garden.html
In the garden is an interesting subject allowing for the imagination to run wild.
I decided to use a variety of stamps with some masking, tooka while to get it how I wanted it. I used the wee folk set which I love. Hope you like it.

masculine
Hi this is only my second blog from this site. Have had a lot of problems with it in the past so hope this will be ok.
I have just completed my card for this months challenge over at the Clarity web site.
http://claritystampchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/challenge-39.html
I have thought about this one for a while so here goes,
firstly I inked a background using colour burst inks, mainly greens blues and oranges.
I then stenciled the trees in place and embossed them.
I thought the trees were a little pale so I coloured them with distrees inks watered down a little.
The rabbits were stamped in using archival brown ink. and the ferns were stamped in green and cut out and glued into place.
Using the word chain letters I stamped and embossed the word celebrate into place using copper embossing powder.
I mounted this onto 3 layers of green card and spritzed with perfect pearls mist sour apple.
Do hope you like it, would appreciate any comments positive or negative.
